Elias Miller is an African-American, Japanese, German-Jewish, Czechoslovakian and Dutch artist, born and raised in the Sonoran Desert (Tucson, AZ).
He works full time as a freelance illustrator and animator based out of Los Angeles.
Elias studied in Hong Kong, Atlanta and Savannah. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a BFA in Illustration.
He went on to create a successful kickstarter campaign, Earth Apparel, for his original screen-printed designs on organic cotton garments before moving to LA.
Elias likes to create his work starting with a variety of traditional media, including graphite, charcoal, pen and ink and watercolors, which he then scans and edits digitally. Elias enjoys working on concepts centered around the environment and social justice.
When he’s not drawing, he likes to create succulent arrangements, sculpt maquettes, and drink green tea.
